A 20-year-old man has been charged with fourteen counts of sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old girl.

He is charged with twice having carnal knowledge of the young girl, attempting to persuade her to perform sexual acts on him, as well as several counts of touching.

The alleged offences are said to have all occurred over the course of three months last year.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the man into custody.

He will reappear on April 25.
