A request of the Governor

November 17, 2013

This letter was sent to the Governor, George Fergusson, and has been copied to The Royal Gazette.

Dear Sir,

I would like to respectfully request that a British Embassy be set up at Government House to deal with matters such as renewing British Passports which the UK will not let our Department of Immigration have any dealings with.

The present situation is pretty intolerable for the average Britain and elderly folks who are left floundering and don’t have the means to even provide themselves with the required forms in order to apply for a renewal for their passports.

The recent complaints in the Royal Gazette pointed out the absurdity of the situation and even prompted our local cartoonist to make one smile

at the difficulties existing with the present system.

Yours respectfully,

A British Subject.

Warwick.
