Road crash

A 48-year-old woman was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after her car and a bus collided last week.

The accident occurred along Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke around 1pm last Thursday.

“It appears that a bus was being driven along Marsh Folly Road and [the] car was exiting the St John’s Church property when the vehicles collided,” a Police spokesman said. “The car driver, a 48-year-old Pembroke woman, was apparently injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. She was later discharged. There were no other injuries reported; however both vehicles received front-end damage.”

Witnesses to the accident who haven’t already come forward are asked to contact PC Kalvilicia Joell on 295-0011.
