The Bermuda Regiment Band is set to perform the final Beat the Retreat parade of the summer tonight following a successful series of performances in Colorado. The band recently returned from three nights of performances at the Estes Park Scottish-Irish Festival in Colorado, leaving less than 24 hours before a deluge of rain that has caused severe flooding throughout the state. The Regiment’s director of music, Major Dwight Robinson, said the band did very well at the festival, noting that conditions were “pitch perfect” when the band performed. The final Beating of the Retreat parade of the summer is set to start tonight starting at 8.30pm at the flagpole on Front Street.
