September 16, 2013Dear Sir,Yesterday, I was driving behind a taxi on Harbour Road who was pointing out various things to the tourists in his cab.In between myself and the taxi was a bike rider who was flailing his arm about because the taxi was slowing down and holding him up. The taxi driver pulled over and waved him on to go ahead and overtake him.The bike rider proceeded and then put his arm in the air and gave him the “Finger”. Now isn’t that a nice welcome to our tourists?I hope you are proud of yourself in helping us to welcome tourists to our Island and showing them how wonderfully FRIENDLY and welcoming we are! Thank God we have many friendly and genuine Bermudians who try every day to make people feel welcome to our beautiful Island.Joanne Hayward Kippax
