May 29, 2013Dear Sir,Thank you for the letter today from ‘Cleaning Up Bermuda’. Sign pollution has been allowed to get completely out of hand throughout our once beautiful land.Just last week the pristine beauty of Church Bay was tarnished with a large plastic banner tied between two palm trees and smaller painted sandwich boards also advertise snacks, snorkels, etc which detract from such beautiful parkland.Bermuda used to enforce laws about signage. As part of the Island-wide desire to improve the tourism product and fulfil the National Tourism Plan, sign pollution needs to be addressed before our island is completely trashed.AGAINST SIGN POLLUTION
