Atavistic, mindless flying rats

February 16, 2013Dear Sir,The kiskadee is a troublesome worthless creature that does not belong in Bermuda. It is troublesome not only to people but to other birds as well. It is a bully that tries to interfere with the blue bird’s habitat and mating patterns. Other birds such as finches and cardinals are also pestered, and simply move to a different location when these pests show up. Their shriek is very off-putting and constant (sometimes all day). They can break a person’s concentration and they defecate on vehicles and houses. They are a major pest. These black and yellow birds are not endemic to our Island and are consuming resources that other birds should have — birds that actually look nice and have a beautiful song. These pests are populating out of control and need to be eradicated — otherwise culled to an inch of their worthless lives. These atavistic, mindless flying rats don’t contribute to the ecosystem. Their sole purpose is to spawn more worthless pests to annoy humans and other birds. If vectorworks gets rid of rats, mosquitoes and other pests, why not the ugly, annoying, harassing and bullying kiskadees? Ag and Fish need to get on this right away.MR DWarwick
