October 4, 2012Dear Sir,Could it be that the foretold destructive plans have come to pass, and because of Bermudian arrogance we did not heed the warnings?Each and every one of us must consider ourselves responsible for the above.We must now urgently do what must be done to save this beautiful little Island from further destruction.Vote OBA and throw the present Government out, for its dealings which have furthered the demise of this Island and have put thousands of people out of work and placed as many or more in various forms of dire poverty.Next, we must vigorously seek reparations from the people who have caused this tragic situation, through incompetence, dishonesty, and transparent corruption, and return it to The People.Finally, it is no longer somebody’s responsibility it lies with all of us, to stand together as one and see that we do everything in our power to bring this lovely Island back to where it was — the envy of the entire world.How do we do this? Clean, paint, spruce up our yards, Plant shrubs, trees, flowers all around. Make it beautiful again. Be aware of your neighbour’s needs, help and volunteer whatever time you have to spare to fill in and relieve the overstretched wonderful staff that man all the services on this Island.
