BII classes registration open
Registration is underway for anyone interested in the Fall 2012 semester classes offered at the Bermuda Insurance Institute (BII).Classes are preparing students for the Bermuda exam window scheduled for January 15 through February 8, 2013. Exam fees and study material costs are not included in the course costs. The BII advises that when ordering study materials, students should note that the Bermuda exam window falls into the US January — March, 2013 window.Classes scheduled to run are AINS21 (Property & Liability Insurance Principles), AINS22 (Personal Insurance) & AINS23 (Commercial Insurance), ARe143 (Primary Insurance Coverages), AU60 (Commercial Underwriting Principles), CPCU500 (Foundations of Risk Management & Insurance) & CPCU520 (Insurance Operations). The BII says early birds who register before August 26 will save $50 for most courses. Some classes are so popular, they say, that students will want to be sure to register early to get into their preferred classes. There’s also a minimum number of students required, so the BII says students who wait too long to register could miss out as they might make the decision to cancel the class due to low enrolment. To register, visit www.bii.bm and click on Student Services for a list of classes. Those not sure of where to start their studies can contact the BII at register@bii.bm or call 295-1596.
