A seven-year-old was hospitalised after a serious road traffic accident over the weekend.The boy was on a pedal cycle near Langton Hill in Pembroke, when he was involved in a collision with a car around 7.15pm on Sunday.Said a Police spokesman: “It appears that both vehicles were travelling along St John’s Road when they collided. As a result, the pedal cyclist, a seven-year-old Pembroke boy, was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.”As of press time last night, the boy remained in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.Witnesses are asked to contact PC David McHugh on 295-0011.
