September 9, 2011Dear Sir,Can you shed some light on the fact that the legal speed limit in Bermuda is 35kph on the wide open roads and that the same traffic signs are used in a school zone? In most countries, school zones have markedly decreased speed limits. Should someone not look into making the legal speed in a school zone 15kph?Purvis School on Cedar Hill appears to be all ready for the children and the new school year: lovely paint job on the road, crosswalks and that raised red gravel prior to the crosswalks and a shiny new sign 35kph sign.
