Devonshire Bay reflects the effects of Hurricane Katia Wednesday morning. Now a category 1 storm Katia remains a potential threat with its closest point of approach 3am Thursday at about 252 miles to our west-southwest. Expect showers and a risk of thunderstorms, along with strong winds with occasional gale force gusts through Thursday. Winds and showers will ease on Friday as Katia pulls away. September 6, 2011Dear Sir,Can somebody please explain Channel 4? All it is is simply info from a computer screen. There's no weather reporters or anything, it's like every weather reporter in Bermuda either has a family or ... the only part that's good is, when it shows the land and, the yellow symbol indicating the hurricane, the lettering and saying it's a potential threat. The radar page, is slow (too slow as it seems to stop around 4.50 in the morning, even if the time is 6.30am in the morning). You never seem to know the weather until every 55 minutes which sucks as well. Channel 23 is more broad, more spacious, more information that we need, so what's your preference: top quality or low class?ANONYMOUSDevonshire
