Economy Minister Kim Wilson will be leading a public meeting tonight aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship in the West End.The event, which is being hosted by the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation (BSBDC) at the Sandys Secondary Middle School, will see Minister Wilson sharing the Economic Empowerment Zones Agency’s (EEZA) plans for the Somerset area with attendees.The Minister will also use the opportunity to promote her “Passion Into Profit” initiative, by urging individuals who have a specific interest or passion to seriously consider the idea to create a small business.Minister Wilson said: “Entrepreneurial activity is a powerful tool in the job creation process and it is a key component in the Ministry’s overall programme. Lately we have seen quite a few new businesses springing up despite the challenging climate, and I believe that the success of our economy depends on the success of small business.
