Let's reverse the damage

June 8, 2011Dear Sir,When people use their voting rights to make the wrong decisions for the wrong reasons and continue to do so there is usually a tragic outcome not only for them, as it all backfires eventually, but as always for the middle class and the poor who take the brunt as usual. The rich don’t care — why should they? A shrug of the shoulders and move on, as they always have an alternative, the perks of being rich and wealthy. That this Island has been held to ransom by a devious, conniving, punishing, greedy, peacock administration for “Pay Back Time” is nothing short of a gigantic “tragedy in motion” and the motion will be like the pebble thrown into the pond, the ripples will continue for a very long time to come.We watched the antics aghast and felt “there must be some mistake!”Now we know there was no mistake. We must gather all the forces at hand to reverse the damage and make it known that it will take everyone of us to make the effort and it can be done.We have the chance to change things, let’s not throw that chance away — we must get the Government we deserve by voting for:Administrative ExpertiseIntegrityTransparencySelfless Serving and that lovely word — Decency.DIANA WILLIAMSPembroke
