May 21, 2011Dear Sir,We have been witness to another unfortunate demoralising fight among the youth at the Hamilton bus depot. The fighting at the bus terminal disturbs the dedicated drivers and peaceful citizens who use our bus services the PLP Government has provided.I met with Minister Lister last year last year about providing additional security and I am urging that the Minister carry out the security proposals I made, such as a full time police officer to be paid from charging students a $1 fee which will go directly for an officer from 6am to midnight.This is a very serious and important issue that should not be left for another day.
