April 13, 2011Dear Sir,Relative to the reduction in the Harbour Night schedule, I offer the following comment and suggestion. The majority of the persons in attendance are visitors and will not be able to compare content of a revised event to a so called “quality event”. Those repeat viewers in attendance will appreciate the event for they are aware of the budget cuts.I suggest that the 24 week schedule can be maintained by spreading available resources over the 24 months without any apparent reduction, if any, to the quality of the event. It is my observation that the local and foreign attendees enjoy the interface with each other as much or more than the presentations.I offer this as a Bermudian who visits family and friends frequently and appreciate the Harbour Night presentation.
