Appleby promotes Last to partner
Bermuda-based law firm Appleby has announced the promotion of one lawyer to the partnership and the appointment of three lawyers to the position of counsel.Among those promoted to counsel with effect from today will be Erica Robinson-McLeod, a member of Appleby’s corporate and commercial group who is based in the Bermuda office, Gill Crennell, a member of the firm’s corporate and commercial group in the Isle of Man office, and Stephanie Duke, a member of the litigation and insolvency practice based in the Jersey office.Alex Last, a member of Appleby’s corporate and commercial group, who is also based in the Jersey office, has been promoted to partner.Shaun Morris, Bermuda managing partner, said: “Corporate and litigation are two of our core legal service lines and the promotion of a new partner and three counsel in these areas is a testimony to the continuing strength of these practices.
