SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5: Police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old man in a Pembroke home yesterday morning.

Officers were informed of a medical emergency at a Union Street residence around 5.40am, a spokesman said.

The man, who is yet to be identified, was found in an unresponsive state.

He was taken to King Edward VII?Memorial Hospital via ambulance and pronounced dead at 5.53am.

“Inquiries are underway; however there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. No further information will be released until the next of kin have been notified,” the police spokesman added.
