A man was robbed on Woodlands Road yesterday by two men riding in a silver car.

According to Police, at around midnight on Sunday night, a 46-year-old Pembroke man was walking through the area when two unknown men accosted him.

The victim was not injured, but the robbers took a quantity of cash before escaping.

A Police spokesman said: "The suspects are described as two black men dressed in black clothing, one wearing an earring."

Two people injured in single vehicle crash

Two people were injured after they lost control of their car on North Shore Road and collided with an embankment.

According to Police, the car was travelling near Studio Lane in Hamilton Parish before 6.55 a.m. when the driver, a 19-year-old St. George's man, lost control.

Both the driver and a passenger, a 22-year-old St. George's woman, were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment, but neither's injuries are considered life threatening.

In total, 11 traffic collisions were reported over the weekend, with four resulting in injury.

A Police spokesman said that there were also six arrests on suspicion of impaired driving, and five vehicles reported stolen.
