Thank you for being Bermuda

Dear Sir,

We have to thank the Bermudian people for letting us share their beautiful island. We just returned to work after the best vacation of our lives on the beautiful property of Coco Reef. This was our third visit to the Coco Reef. The Coco Reef staff, the food, and Bermudian people came together to give visitors like us a wonderful, warm, calming, and welcoming feeling. The Coco Reef has a special place in our hearts and what a great location overlooking the ocean.

The general manager Lyle Pauls personally welcomed us to the hotel. I can't say enough about his staff. The entire staff treated us like family. Vladimir the concierge at the Coco Reef was a wealth of knowledge advising us on expeditions throughout the island as well as entertainment at night. Vladimir is a big believer in the public transportation, which was a great way for us to mingle with the wonderful Bermudians. It didn't stop there. I also have to thank all the wonderful Bermudian people that we met. The people couldn't have been more polite and welcoming, from the customs agents, cab drivers, bus drivers, ferry operators, and all the hotel personnel, everyone was there with a smile, a good morning, and how can we help you enjoy your stay.

Kathy and I were waiting at the bus stop and two Bermudian children offered their seat to us. These gestures of kindness are everywhere. While taking a walk we asked an adult Bermudian for directions and she told us she would drive us to our destination. One night we had trouble getting a taxi and the waiter drove us home. Whatever you are doing in Bermuda I think it is working. You have a little piece of heaven on earth. The Coco Reef restaurant staff took very good care of us. Kathy and I had wonderful breakfasts every morning, and we also had great lunches overlooking the ocean, but what was so very memorable was our dinner. We had the table closest to the ocean and there was a full moon and the meal was delicious. It was absolutely fantastic. When life gets me down here at home I'll always have the memories of Bermuda and the Coco Reef to cheer me up. What a warm wonderful place. Thank you Bermuda for being Bermuda. I'll be back to see you soon.
