Bike crash woman remains in intensive care

A Smith's parish woman who suffered head injuries after her rental cycle came into collision with a truck on Thursday, remains in intensive care unit and is in stable condition.
According to a Police spokesman the 29-year-old was travelling east on Middle Road in Smith's parish near the junction with Aldie Drive when she came into collision with a truck heading in the opposite direction.
She was taken to KEMH by ambulance where she was said to be in serious condition. At last check, the woman's condition had improved to stable condition.
The driver of the truck a 42-year-old man from Warwick was not injured.
