Bermuda long jumper Tyrone Smith ended his season with a fifth place finish at the Palio Citta della Quercia, Rovereto, Italy.

The Olympian, who tagged three successive meets on the end of his season after his disappointing showing at the recent World Championships in Berlin, recorded a jump of 7.66 metres.

Last week he finished third at the Citta di Padova meet in Italy with a leap of 7.83 metres, and eighth at the British Grand Prix in Gateshead, posting a jump of 7.58.
