Tropical storm coming

A tropical storm is expected to pass within 29 nautical miles of Bermuda this evening, bringing storm force winds to the Island.
The Bermuda Weather Service said Tropical Storm Shary formed about 400 nautical miles south-southeast of Bermuda yesterday and was racing northwest at 20 knots. The storm was packing winds of 35 knots gusting to 45 knots.
The BWS said Bermuda could expect northerly winds of 25 to 35 knots gusting to 45 knots by this evening, while seas were expected to be one to three feet high inside the reef and nine to 14 ft outside.
