Bermuda will be the setting for one of the SheROX Triathlon Series – the fast growing all-women's sprint distance triathlon series.

The race will be staged on Sunday, November 14 and will be hosted by the Fairmont Southampton and the Department of Tourism.

"This is truly the most beautiful triathlon race course of the SheROX Series and I want all of our athletes to share in the experience," said Barb McKeever, SheROX Series Director.

"I can't think of a more scenic location to wrap up the race season than in the paradise of Bermuda.

"Just a short flight from the entire eastern coast of the United States, SheROX Bermuda is a great opportunity for our athletes to plan a weekend getaway and get in one last race prior to the holiday season.

"We're thrilled to be working with the Bermuda Department of Tourism to bring the SheROX Series to Bermuda."

The Fairmont Southampton will start welcoming SheROX Bermuda athletes on Friday, November 12.

On Saturday afternoon, race participants will have their packet pick-up and a special talk with one of the top female triathletes in the sport followed by an informal pasta dinner.

The race itself will begin on Sunday morning with a swim in the protected cove of East Whale Bay, off the Fairmont Southampton's beach.

A 12-mile bike ride will be followed by a 3.1 mile run along the beach and trails around the resort with an awards dinner that night.
