Utilities have busy week on Bermuda Stock Exchange
Utilities was the busiest sector on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week.
Watlington Waterworks Ltd. dropped 18.95 percent ($2.35) to $10.05, with 2,100 shares traded, while KeyTech Ltd. rose 4.25 percent (30 cents) to $7.35, as 14,000 shares changed hands.
Meanwhile BF&M Ltd. also climbed 7.72 percent (95 cents) to $13.25, with 500 shares being transacted.
Other traders included Butterfield Bank, which transacted 27,000 common shares and 55 preference shares, but both of the share prices remained unchanged at $1.50 and $200 respectively.
Overall the Index advanced 8.26 points (0.64 percent) to 1,275.52, with 43,600 shares worth BD$171,515 and 1,498 shares worth US$82,739.35 changing hands.
The BSX Insurance Index remained unchanged at 977 for the week.
