BF&M Ltd. fell 6.9 percent (90 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer traded 450 shares during the day to close at $12.10.

Butterfield Bank also transacted 2,800 shares, but its shares price held firm at $1.50.

Overall the Index dropped 6.27 points (0.49 percent) to 1,261.9, with 3,250 shares worth $9,645 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index also dipped two points (0.22 percent) to 908.
