The Ascendant Group Ltd. slipped 1.42 percent (20 cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities firm traded 100 shares to close the day at $13.80.

The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which saw 12,700 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.50.

The Index, as a whole, dipped 1.75 points (0.14 percent) to 1,278.67, with 12,800 shares worth $20,430 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index rose 24 points (2.69 percent) to 916.
