MediaHouse drops
MediaHouse Ltd. proved to be the biggest decliner on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) last week, dropping 25.1 percent ($3.35) to $10.
The media company traded 4,347 shares during the day.
Butterfield Bank also fell 7.9 percent (15 cents) to $1.75, with 21,653 shares changing hands, while LOM (Holdings) Ltd. slipped 1.6 percent (five cents) to $3.10, as 12,500 shares were transacted.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. also traded 2,200 shares, but its share price remained unchanged at $9.87.
The Ascendant Group Ltd. dropped 6.5 percent (95 cents) to $13.50, with 1,400 shares changing hands, but Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. was up 4.2 percent (20 cents) at $5, as 1,600 shares were transacted.
The Index, as a whole, dipped 90.75 points (5.79 percent) to 1,394.47, with 55,800 shares worth BD$242,180.10 and 1,400 shares worth US$19,040 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, was up 10 points (1.06 percent) at 951.
