Argus Group Holdings Ltd. enjoyed a good day's trading on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer rose 40 cents (6.3 percent) to $6.70, with 2,300 shares traded.

But Devonshire Industries Ltd. fell five cents (0.4 percent) to $12.50, as 700 shares changed hands.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank (61,312 shares), Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. (4,800) and BF&M Ltd. (652).

Overall the Index was up 15.11 points (0.75 percent) at 2,024.44, with 69,764 shares worth $325,336 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dipped 18.14 points (2.3 percent) to 770.42.
