The Swing Bridge that connects St. George's to St. David's Island will be closed to marine traffic Thursday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

According to the Ministry of Works and Engineering, Belco will be working in the area, cutting off power for the bridge at the east end of Kindley Field. At 5 p.m., the power is expected to be returned to the bridge, and marine travel will be allowed through again. Ground traffic will be as normal.
