Police say that they will "remain vigilant" following a series of burglaries in St. George's.

A spokesperson for the Police said officers are investigating several burglaries in the area and are using images from closed-circuit television cameras to identify those responsible.

"Police are aware of several burglaries which have taken place in St. George's recently at commercial premises, and also recent residential burglaries and attempted burglaries.

"We will continue to remain vigilant, maintaining patrols through the town of St. George and its surrounding areas."

The spokesperson also said that Police are meeting with community partners to better address concerns in the area.
