The 13th annual Rubber Duck Derby in aid of Agape House has raised at least $150,000, it was announced yesterday.

Linda Smith, spokeswoman for BELCO, the lead sponsor of the June 7 event said: "While the final figures are yet to be received, it would appear that Friends of Hospice will comfortably reach its stated target of $150,000.

"This achievement would not have been possible without the enormous support received from the corporate community as well as from the many individuals who purchased rubber ducks."

One hundred percent of the monies raised will directly benefit Agape House.
