Motorists caught driving on Washington Street South will be ticketed, as it is not a through road as advised by the Department of Public Transportation.

Director of the DPT, Dan Simmons said: "We are once again appealing to the public to observe the no thoroughfare rule on Washington Street South for the safety of bus drivers and the public.

"We would also like to remind motorists to observe the 15-minute parking requirement in the bays within the depot area for the businesses that occupy Cedarparkade."
