Blazers game could decide the title
Southampton Rangers –v Devonshire Colts
Rangers will be looking to move up in the standings with a win in this match against bottom of the table Colts.
Three points would see them leapfrog Hamilton Parish and PHC Zebras in the standings as the teams in the middle of the pack start to jostle for Martonmere Cup spots for next season.
A win will help Colts build up a head of steam as they prepare for their seemingly inevitable fight for their top-flight status against the third place team in the First Division.
Anything out of this match will be a positive motivator for a side yet to get a league win under their belt this season.
Prediction: Rangers 2-0
Boulevard Blazers –v Devonshire Cougars
Title contenders clash in this all-important derby with the losers surely out of the title race.
Cougars hold a slight one-point lead over Dandy Town, with Boulevard two points further back and time running out to make them up.
Devonshire almost had a scare last time out when they were 2-0 down to Rangers in the opening 15 minutes but held their nerve to secure a memorable 3-2 win to stay top of the league.
And they will need to be better than that if they are to compete with the speed and trickery of Blazers' potent attack.
Boulevard were in a rampant mood in their last league fixture, running out 4-0 winners against Hamilton Parish and will be looking to climb at least one spot by the end of the day.
Depending on the result between Dandy Town and North Village, they could go top with a showdown with the Hornets also on the horizon.
Prediction: Draw
Dandy Town Hornets –v North Village Rams
Town can continue to add pressure to Cougars with a win over Village at home.
After their win on Wednesday in the FA Cup, they will undoubtedly be in a buoyant mood and chasing their hopes of the 'Double'.
Raymond Beach is back to his scoring form and will cause all sorts of problems to the Rams back four if they don't keep track of him at all times.
On the other hand, Town must be wary of Ralph Bean jr, who will make them pay for any mistakes they make at the back.
This sets up to be a thriller with so much at stake.
Prediction: Town 2-1
Hamilton Parish Peppers– v PHC Zebras
Neither one of these sides have anything to play for at this stage of the season with both unable to catch the pack ahead of them.
Parish have done well this season and have given a good account of themselves by surviving the drop when most thought they would be scrapping at this point.
Zebras, who relinquished their grip on the FA Cup Wednesday, will be trying to gain some momentum heading into their Friendship Final match against Rangers in a few weeks' time.
A combination of woeful finishing and defending has cost them their chance to defend all their titles this year, but they can look to start building towards next season starting this weekend.
Prediction: Zebras 2-0
