A Pembroke man scared off someone trying to break into his house by threatening him with the arrival of the Police.

Early last Friday morning, the resident of a Euclid Avenue, Pembroke home heard a bang on his door. When he approached the entrance to his house he saw a man who demanded money.

The Pembroke man refused to give him anything so the man continued banging the door until it buckled and only stopped when the resident said the Police were on their way.
