Five young Bermudians have completed the Police Cadet Programme to launch careers as Police officers.

The three women and two men were sworn in as Police Constables effective Wednesday, May 28, 2008.

They are: Derrick Golding, 23; La'Toyia Brunson, 23; Janeal Parson, 21; Kemar Peters, 20; and Kendy Swainson, 21.

The recruits are now preparing to join an 18-week recruit foundation course, and six-week street duties course.
