Teen on bike is robbed

A teenager was robbed at knifepoint by a man who stole his wallet, a gold chain and two gold rings.

At 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19-year-old victim was riding his bike on St. John's Road, in Pembroke, when a man on another bike pulled up alongside him.

The suspect managed to bring the victim's bike to a standstill and then brandished a bladed article before taking a black wallet, chain and rings from the Pembroke teenager, who was not injured.

Police say the suspect was a yellow-skinned male with facial hair, of muscular build, believed to be aged in his 30s. He was wearing a grey hooded top, dark-coloured jeans and a black helmet with a mirrored visor. The suspect was also riding an old rusty dark coloured motorcycle.

Two burglaries

Police are investigating two burglaries at a school and a club.

Someone broke into the Royal Artillery Association (RAA) Club in St. George's overnight on Tuesday, although it appears nothing was stolen.

And Police were called to the East End Primary school in St. George's which was also broken into overnight on Tuesday. It is not known if anything was taken.
