The Number One car park on Front Street is set to reopen on Monday following a period of construction work.

The general public will be able to use the 110 car parking spaces and 350 bike bays, although the "beautification process" of the area will continue according to the Corporation of Hamilton.

A "small and attractive recreational area" is planned for the Number One car park, said Corporation Secretary Ed Benevides.
