Calling all beautiful ladies... the Miss Bermuda Pageant is coming back bigger than ever next year and will soon be accepting applicants.

The pageant is expected to be held in the summer of 2011 and will be produced by Blanc Limited, based in St. George’s.

According to a new Facebook page, the Miss Bermuda Pageant promises to be a very popular event.

Organisers are looking for intelligent and beautiful young women, aged 18 to 25, to “showcase these attributes on stage”, the Facebook page said.

This will be the first time the pageant has been held in more than a decade. Past winners have gone on to much acclaim, including Gina Swainson, who was named Miss World in 1979 and first runner-up to Miss Universe the same year.
