MarketPlace in new promotion to beat money crunch
MarketPlace is launching a new campaign to help ease the financial crunch facing many Bermudians.
Starting Monday, the grocery store will be featuring a daily dinner recipe in The Royal Gazette.
The recipe will be capable of feeding a family of four at a cost of between $10 and $15, sometimes less.
The recipes have been approved by a qualified nutritionist. In addition to the low-cost meal, MarketPlace will ensure the main ingredients of the recipe will be available on special that week, to help reduce the cost even more.
A spokesperson for the grocery store said: "Recognising the time demands on many of us between work and family, we have tried to keep the recipes simple and easy to prepare but nutritionally beneficial.
"We hope our customers are pleased that we have found another way that we can help."
Recipes will also be available in the stores on a weekly flyer and can be copied to any church or community groups for circulation to their members.
