More parking spaces in town
More parking spaces have been made available in Hamilton to accommodate the growing number of cars and bikes.
The Corporation of Hamilton announced there will be extra cycle parking spaces at the Number One car park and that the Number Seven car park is now open.
Mayor of Hamilton Sutherland Madeiros said: "With the increasing amount of traffic entering the city for work, shopping or evening entertainment, the Corporation has increased parking to make it more convenient for the public."
The Number Seven pay and display car park (opposite the Cabinet Office) adds another 31 car spaces, including two spaces for the handicapped.
The Corporation has also added 50 cycle parking spaces at Number One car park and 15 cycle parking spaces behind City Hall.
