A 29-year-old Warwick man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after he was injured in a single vehicle accident.

Around 4 a.m. yesterday morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle accident on Crow Lane in Paget.

It appeared that a motorcycle was travelling south on Crow Lane when its driver lost control near the junction with Corkscrew Hill. The cycle collided with an embankment and the man sustained a fractured left leg as well as abrasions to his body.

He was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment, and subsequently arrested.

The motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquires into the incident are underway.
