The Royal Gazette will not publish on Monday
A reporting team from The Royal Gazette will be keeping readers updated online on Hurricane Igor for as long as it can over the weekend and through Monday.
However, we will not be publishing a print edition of the newspaper on Monday due to the length of time Bermuda is expected to be affected by tropical storm and hurricane force winds.
"This decision has not been taken lightly," said Editor Bill Zuill. "It will be the first time in living memory that The Royal Gazette has missed an edition. But we feel staff safety is paramount due to the predicted severity of the storm. We expect to have comprehensive coverage of Igor in Tuesday's newspaper and thank our readers and advertisers for their understanding."
Stay tuned to www.theroyalgazette.com and our Facebook and Twitter accounts for regular updates on the storm.
ŸThe Royal Gazette is also seeking photographs, videos and stories from members of the community from the storm.
