A pair of visitors fell victim to thieves who snatched their bag from the back of their rental cycle on Saturday.

According to a Police spokesman, the 35-year-old man and 32-year-old woman, who hail from Arizona, were targeted on South Road, Paget, around 6 p.m.

They were riding west when the two unknown men snatched their brown backpack from the cycle's basket and made off. The visitors were not injured. The backpack contained cash, a Sony digital camera and personal items.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.
