A fire broke out in the closet of an apartment in Hamilton Parish on Thursday evening.

No-one was injured in the incident on North Shore Road, which occurred in the lower apartment of a two-storey building.

Seven firefighters attended the scene according to Lieutenant Wenda Roberts of the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service. One fire truck and three other vehicles were sent to the incident. The cause is still under investigation, however it is not believed to be suspicious in nature.

Lt. Roberts was unable to state whether the house was occupied at the time.
