Six fly BA to promote businesses in the UK
The six entrepreneurs who won a trip to the UK to further their business, courtesy of British Airways, arrived in London yesterday.
Terry Smith of Clara Bows, Lemone Woods of Bermuda Sports Network, Anthony Easton of Anthony's tuxedo hire, jeweller Alexandra Mosher, Lucinda Spurling of Afflare Films, and Tom Wadson of Wadsons farms were all winners in the Face 2 Face competition, sponsored by BA and backed by the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation.
The six business people began their activities with a reception at the House of Commons, hosted by several MPs, in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurs Week activities in London.
Mr Woods went on a tour of the British Broadcasting Corporation studios in White City, while Mr Wadson visited Highgrove, Prince Charles' farm, where he met with managers.
