Police are appealing for witnesses to the death of a man at Dockyard.

The man was discovered floating face-down in the water on Monday around 1.45 p.m. He is described as an 'older man'.

Police have not yet officially identified the deceased, but he is believed to be Bermudian.

A spokesman said:"Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Though foul play is not suspected, an autopsy is anticipated. No further information will be released until the deceased's next-of-kin has been notified.

"Police are appealing for anyone with any information about this matter to contact the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010."
