A woman who suffered head injuries when her rental cycle came into collision with a truck remained in the Intensive Care Unit last night.

The 29-year-old victim, from Smith's parish, was travelling east when the collision occurred around 6.55 p.m on Thursday evening. The truck was heading in the opposite direction.

A hospital spokesperson described her condition last night as "stable".
