British Airways has announced that from Wednesday any checked bag which travels in the hold for the World Traveller cabin must not weigh more that 23 kg (51 pounds).

Passengers will be allowed to carry baggage up to 32 kg (70 pounds) — but with an extra charge of £25.

World Traveller and World Traveller Plus passengers are allowed two checked bags.
