PTB buses collide on Cedar Avenue

Two public buses suffered an estimated $50,000-worth of damage in a collision in Hamilton on Friday afternoon.

One of the vehicles had a group of tourists on board when the incident happened on Cedar Avenue around 3 p.m. No-one was hurt.

A Public Transportation Department employee, who declined to give his name, said one bus hit the back of the other as they both attempted to manoeuvre around a car that had stalled in the road.

One bus suffered a smashed front windscreen, one a smashed back windscreen, and both suffered fender damage.
